While team members have been eligible for tax relief for tipped income at the federal level, there has yet to be relief at the state level.

SB 984 (Ochoa Bogh) proposes state-level tax relief on earned tips for up to 3-years.

SB 984 was approved by the Senate Revenue and Taxation Committee, thanks to CRA member engagement and the CRA's advocacy efforts. 

Now, the proposal awaits a critical vote this Thursday in the Senate Appropriations Committee.
