We did it!

On Monday night, the final deadline passed for AB 2564 – Surveillance Pricing, and it died on the Assembly floor.

AB 2564 would’ve undermined your ability to offer customized discounts unless all price changes were publicly disclosed in numerous places and those discounts made available to all who meet the posted eligibility requirements — or risk costly shakedown lawsuits enforceable by public and private class-action lawsuits.

Thanks to our joint efforts – and your advocacy urging the state legislature to OPPOSE AB 2564, it did not have the votes needed to make it to Governor Newsom’s desk.
