Ban Health Care Non-Competes in New York!

Dear New York ACC Member,

Building on New York ACC's work in 2023, Senator Sean Ryan has introduced S.4641 to ban non-compete agreements for all healthcare professionals in the state.  As you know, non-compete clauses restrict healthcare professionals from practicing within a certain geographical area and/or for a certain period upon leaving their current employer. While beneficial to employers, they can be detrimental to patients who rely on their healthcare providers and continuity of care for lifesaving and timely treatments and procedures.

It is time to have cardiology's voice heard and ban non-compete agreements!

Please send a letter to your State Senator to vote YES on S. 4641. You are able to edit the pre-populated letter to share your story about the burdens of non-compete agreements.
