The House of Representatives and Senate recently launched bipartisan Congressional Epilepsy Caucuses. Representatives Greg Murphy, MD (R-NC-03) and Jim Costa (D-CA-21) launched the House Epilepsy Caucus in February 2023 and Senators Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) and Eric Schmitt (R-MO) launched the Senate Epilepsy Caucus in February 2024.
What is a Caucus?
Members of Congress join caucuses for causes that are important to the people living in their districts and states. The more champions in each caucus, the louder our voices for the epilepsies will be in the nation’s capital.
How Can You Help Grow the Caucus?
Take action and ask your elected officials to join the Caucus! If your elected official is already a member of the caucus, you will be able to send them a thank-you message instead. Use VoterVoice to quickly look up your members in both the House and Senate, personalize a message to each of them, and easily send the message – in just a few clicks!
What is VoterVoice?
VoterVoice is a tool to make contacting legislators on issues you care about easy. The first time you take action in VoterVoice, the system will send a verification code to your email. This is to ensure your personal information is safe and secure and can only be modified by you. After the first time, you should rarely encounter verification codes. Thank you in advance for understanding.
