HUSEC: Sustain Your Services - Make Investment Meet the Need
The community disability, mental health, and substance-use disorders that are so vital to our community are only made possible by Medicaid. Without continuous investment, we will continue to fall farther and farther behind. A recent study showed that 60% of intellectual and developmental disability providers may have to close certain programs because they cannot hire enough staff due to low payment for their services. 

This bill would make decision-makers have to consider increasing payment rates in line with inflation each year. This would be a huge step to ensuring you get the care you deserve!
