Oppose Cuts to Earned Retirement and Health Benefits
Congressional Republicans are crafting budget reconciliation legislation on defense, energy, and the border, in addition to lifting the debt limit and renewing the 2017 tax cuts that are scheduled to expire at the end of 2025. In order to pay for these priorities, House Republicans passed a host of spending cuts, including several that directly impact federal employee retirement and health benefits.

We are grateful the bill has been modified to remove increases to pension contributions for current feds, as well as the shift from the High-3 to the High-5. And while we certainly welcome the delayed implementation of other provisions, the elimination of the FERS annuity supplement and other provisions remain in the reconciliation bill.

You can help advocate to prevent these cuts, which are broken promises and eliminate federal managers' earned benefits.
