Rep. Lou Correa (D-CA) recently introduced H.R. 6013 which will create a 40% tax credit on the purchase of zero-emission landscaping equipment up to $25,000 annually and up to $100,000 over 10 consecutive years. Equipment that would qualify for the tax credit includes mowers, leaf blowers, hedgers, and any accessories, including retrofitting equipment that transforms gas-powered devices to zero-emission.
The credit would apply to any equipment purchased on or after January 1, 2023.
