The Senate has yet to take up its version of the State and Foreign Operations funding bill as a part of the FY 2026 appropriations process.

The Global Ties Network is mobilizing to advocate for current levels of (flat) funding for the Educational and Cultural Exchange (ECE) budget at $741 million and support for the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) at $105 million in the FY 2026 appropriations. 

On the House side, you will see a companion action alert for FY 2026 appropriations as we look ahead to a floor vote when the government reopens. With an eye on both chambers in Congress, we continue to advocate for FY 2026 funding to secure the highest possible level for ECE and IVLP.
