Hemp Beverage Alliance
Rep. Baird needs co-sponsors!
U.S. Representative Jim Baird introduced legislation to extend the deadline to create a regulatory framework for our category. Rep. Baird's bill moves the deadline from November 2026 to November 2028. This will allow Congress and other stakeholders plenty of time to create thoughtful regulations that protect public health and allow our category to thrive.

Now the bill needs co-sponsors, and that's where we need your help.

Please contact your U.S. representative today and ask them to co-sponsor HR 7024 - the "Hemp Planting Predictability Act."

Tell them:

  1. The hemp beverage industry strongly supports sensible regulations, including age gating, testing, consistent labeling, and more.
  2. Congress needs time to create comprehensive, thoughtful legislation that protects public health and allows the hemp industry to thrive.
  3. The hemp beverage industry is already regulated in 28 states, supports thousands of jobs, and contributes millions to the economy and taxes.
  4. HR 7024 has bi-partisan support.

Most of all, tell them your personal story, including:

  1. Your dedication to quality, safety and public health
  2. Your commitment to the community
