GO2 for Lung Cancer

Cosponsor the Increasing Access to Lung Cancer Screening Act
In May, Senators Durbin (D-IL) and Hirono (D-HI) introduced S. 4566, the Senate companion to the Increasing Access to Lung Cancer Screening Act (H.R. 6178), reintroduced to this Congress by Representatives Castor (D-FL), Fitzpatrick (R-PA), Wasserman Schultz (D-FL), and Lawler (R-NY).

Take Action: Join us in urging your Members of Congress to cosponsor and advance this bipartisan legislation to improve access to lung cancer screening.

The bill would require Medicaid to cover annual lung cancer screening, without cost-sharing, for individuals who meet U.S. Preventive Services Task Force screening recommendations, while also expanding access to related preventive services.
