The Maryland State Dental Association has been approached by researchers from Harvard University regarding access to care and the barriers faced by underserved populations.
MSDA staff sent the researchers our Oral Health Task Force Access to Care report and meeting links as background information. Their research also requires them to discuss the issue directly with providers. Below is the information provided by the research team. Researchers at Harvard University are conducting a study to better understand the landscape of dental insurance. The knowledge gained from this study will help in better understanding barriers to accessing dental care among underserved populations.
You may be eligible for this study if
The study will involve an interview virtually (via Zoom). It is estimated that the interview will be 30-60 minutes. At the end of the interview, you will receive a reward of $50 gift card as a small token of appreciation. All your responses will be confidential and will be aggregated for reporting purposes.
