Bill # H6045/S250 : Improve Child Mental Health by Increasing Access to School Social Workers (Rep. Shallcross Smith & Sen. Sosnowski): 

Access to school social workers is imperative to students' success in school. At a minimum, there should be one social worker for every 250 students. Having an appropriate social worker-to-student ratio will allow social workers to properly attain to the students' needs and help improve their health and wellness.
