Rhode Island Survivor Early Lease Termination Act
H7199 and S2291 Rhode Island Survivor Early Lease Termination Act

One of the most significant barriers for a survivor to escape abuse is housing insecurity. This bill aligns with the federal Violence Against Women Act and creates a safety-focused option for survivors to leave without long-term housing consequences.
