New Mexico’s Athletic Trainer Practice Board is scheduled to go before sunset review. This process determines the need for the AT regulatory board and if lawmakers choose not to renew it, board operations will terminate. Regulatory oversight is critical to ensure practicing athletic trainers meet professional standards, follow state law and remain accountable to the public.

Please use the template on the right to send an email to your legislators asking them to support the athletic training profession by supporting our regulatory board’s renewal. Once you have sent your correspondence, share the link to this landing page with your family, friends, and colleagues so they can send an email as well.
