Please advocate for increased access to mental health services by sharing with your legislators that as of December 2024, 38 states/jurisdictions (Compact Map) have passed legislation to join the compact. The counseling compact is more important now than ever before! Due to significant shifts in client mobility, including opportunities for remote work and education, cross-state movement and engagement has increased. This further highlights the need for counselors to have the privilege to practice in multiple states and Texas's citizens will be well-served by enacting SB 498/HB 1537.
