North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants

This campaign is no longer active.

The Senate bill retains the ability of all pass-throughs to continue to deduct state and local taxes (SALT) at the entity level, preserving parity between corporations and pass-through entities (PTEs) and allowing PTEs to take the deductions as intended. This action is a direct result of grassroots advocacy by NCACPA members and our allies across the nation. We are incredibly grateful for your interest and efforts on this issue!

As of 4:15 PM on July 2, 2025, the House has not yet voted to concur to the Senate language. For real-time updates on breaking advocacy news, please visit NCACPA Connect.
