Concerned about proposed cuts to VA benefits?

1. Contact Your Representatives – Find your rep at congress.gov/members.

2. Join or Support Veterans’ Advocacy Groups – Organizations like the NCOA work to influence policy and protect veterans’ rights.

3. Raise Public Awareness – Share information on social media, write letters to local newspapers, and encourage others to get involved.

4. Attend Town Halls and Public Forums – Engage directly with lawmakers during public events and ask them about their stance on veterans’ benefits.

5. Sign Petitions – Many advocacy groups create petitions to push back against harmful policy changes. Signing and sharing these can amplify your impact.

This is a very important time to be a member of a Veterans Service Organization. The NCOA is seeking volunteers for the Legislative Resolution Team. By joining, you add your voice to the thousands of current and past Enlisted Service Members of our Armed Forces and their family members.

Scholarship Fund

One of the most important entities within the association is the NCOA Scholarship Fund. It was established in 1970 to help dependents of NCOA members continue their education beyond high school. To date, nearly $1.5 million has been awarded in non-repayable scholarships and grants.

Application Closes March 31, 2025!

The NCOA Scholarship application is available on the website, and is open from January 1–March 31 each year.
