Update: A4915 was scheduled for a Vote, but it was pulled from the Assembly Board List on May 22, 2025. We will keep you posted of any new developments.
Thank you to all who emailed and called their legislators to oppose this bill.
This bill has been scheduled for a Vote before the full Assembly on Thursday, May 22nd. It already passed the Senate last October. It will require the Department of State to use taxpayer money to establish the "New Jersey Reproductive Health Travel Advisory." Planned Parenthood was one of the chief supporters of the bill and lobbied Assembly members to support it.
One of the reasons given by sponsors for this bill is to warn college and med students to avoid states that have life-protective laws. However, a recent study showed that College students are not avoiding pro-life states at all. In addition, data continues to show that pro-life states are receiving far more applications for obstetric residencies than they have spots available. Read more here

The Advisory will use color-coordinated descriptions of each state within the U.S. to warn individuals about access to "reproductive health care" aka "abortion" laws.
(1) Blue: Exercise normal caution," (2) "Yellow: Exercise increased caution," and (3) "Red: Reconsider travel."
This bill feeds into the lies and misinformation campaign spread by pro-abortion groups and their elected supporters that women will die if they visit a state that has pro-life protections.
