Tell Congress: Stand up for Main Street over Wall Street
Every time a card is swiped, banks and payment networks collect record profits from businesses and consumers. That’s because only two companies — Visa and Mastercard — dominate 80% of the market. These fees continue to rise, forcing small businesses to either absorb the cost or pass it on through higher prices.

For everyday Americans already feeling the strain of rising expenses, swipe fees are a hidden tax they simply cannot afford. It’s time for Congress to act.

This bipartisan legislation will provide direct relief to both retailers and consumers, ensuring retailers can continue delivering quality products at affordable prices. These reforms have the potential to save American businesses and consumers an estimated $17 billion in swipe fees per year.

Tell Congress to stand up for Main Street over Wall Street and support the Credit Card Competition Act.
