House Set to Vote on THC Drinks, Gummies Today
THC-infused drinks and gummies (marijuana) are set to be considered on the House floor today (April 22, 2026). House members will be debating H. 3924, which was heavily amended in the Senate.  The bill considers how broadly THC-infused drinks and other products should be available in South Carolina; however, a ban is needed.

There are a number of scenarios that could happen. Palmetto Family is urging a vote to ban these products in South Carolina — either by amending H. 3924 or by passing H. 4758.

Expanding the reach of marijuana is a mistake for South Carolina—it’s not a small step; it’s an incredible escalation of moving South Carolina toward recreational use of marijuana.

Please contact your state representative immediately and urge them to strongly support a ban on “weed in a can.”
