Urge Congress to Fund Statewide Family Engagement Centers in FY27!

Contact your members of Congress today to seek robust funding for the Statewide Family Engagement Centers (SFEC) program! Senators Thom Tillis (R-NC) and Chris Coons (D-DE) are currently circulating a bipartisan letter internally asking their fellow Senators to join them in seeking robust funding for the program in the next fiscal year (FY27).

Congress must continue to recognize the important role of parents and families in a child’s education and support the Statewide Family Engagement Centers program, the only federal grant program solely dedicated to family engagement. Decades of research shows families are key to student success and school improvement efforts and strengthening family engagement is a commonsense step toward improving outcomes for children, families, and school communities.

Take action today urging your members of Congress to sign onto this bipartisan letter by April 16, 2026!
