To the Members of our Minute Man Movement:
Today is the big day — ROA Advocacy Day, hosted with the Air Force Reserve and the Air Force Reserve Advisory Council! I’m thrilled to share this moment with you.
Our in-person attendees are reviewing their special edition Advocacy Day booklets — an exclusive perk for joining us on site. Virtual participants can make an impact right now by sending the Call to Action template to your lawmakers.
Our teams are meeting with more than 20 congressional offices today, including:
We kicked off with virtual remarks from Senator Richard Blumenthal, who recorded a message for ROA despite his busy schedule.
We thank him for making the time and for introducing the Servicemember Healthcare Freedom Act, one of the key bills we’re advocating for today alongside sufficient drill pay and improvements to the Transition Assistance Program.
At 2:00 p.m., virtual attendees can join a special meeting with the office of Senator Elizabeth Warren, along with our Air Force Service Section Vice President and some in-person participants — a unique way to experience Advocacy Day energy firsthand.
Thank you for making this day a success.
While our virtual platform is robust, remember that our next in-person Advocacy Day is October 17 during the Annual Meeting — mark your calendars now!
Together, we’re making a difference for our nation’s Reserve Component servicemembers and their families.
With appreciation and excitement,
Matthew Schwartzman
