Expand Drug Recovery Housing & Help Recovering Addicts
We are facing a lethal drug epidemic in our nation and state. According to the National Center for Drug Abuse Statistics (NCDAS), over 96,000 people died from drug overdoses in 2022. This crisis deserves our immediate and undivided attention.

We need legislation that addresses both criminal activity and the needs of those struggling with addiction. Men, women, and children that suffer from addiction need safe environments to aid them in their recovery.

God’s plan for addicts is not just to be obedient to “stop or abstain”; it is ultimately about growth and gaining the strength to overcome. Even if an individual is struggling, their dignity as a son or daughter of Christ is still intact. They are still destined for greatness.

S. 445 will facilitate drug recovery housing and rehabilitation. Support those in need of our care and love.
