Our country is experiencing a drug epidemic fueled by fentanyl. According to the Center of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), fentanyl is now the leading cause of death for Americans aged 18-45. Too many innocent lives are being lost. This is leaving irrevocable damage on our culture and society.  

Pope Francis once stated, “the scourge of drug-trafficking, which favors violence and sows the seeds of suffering and death, requires of society as a whole an act of courage … It is necessary to confront the problems underlying the use of these drugs, by promoting greater justice, educating young people in the values that build up life in society, accompanying those in difficulty and giving them hope for the future.” 

Urge your representatives to support S. 1 to raise the penalties for fentanyl trafficking!
