Support the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency

Contact your legislators today to support Senate Bill 2183 and House Bill 2138! These measures would provide a consistent and stable funding source for the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency without additional licensing fees or taxes. The measures would require 10% of payments made by the Tennessee Valley Authority be directed toward the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Fund.

Adequate funding is an issue for wildlife agencies around the country. Providing a dedicated and consistent funding source for TWRA specifically is paramount to their mission and will allow them to more effectively manage the Volunteer State’s natural resources, provide quality habitat, enhance access for sportsmen and women, and generally support the wildlife and wild places that make Tennessee a great place to hunt and fish.
