Detecting cancer early improves health outcomes and saves lives. New multi-cancer early-detection tests offer the promise of detecting multiple types of cancer in one test before symptoms develop. The Medicare Multi-Cancer Early Detection Screening Coverage Act (H.R.842/S.339) is bipartisan legislation that provides Medicare beneficiaries with coverage of blood-based, multi-cancer early detection tests and future test methods, once they are approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
