Securing federal funding for breast cancer research and programs has never been more important. Komen’s Center for Public Policy is calling on lawmakers to prioritize essential breast cancer research and public health programs in Fiscal Year 2026 (FY26). In FY25, Congress made devastating cuts to biomedical research and left funding for critical services unprotected. Congress can make things right in FY26. Legislators need to hear from YOU that funding breast cancer research, screening, diagnosis, and treatment programs is critical.
Congress must invest in breast cancer programs at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Departments of Defense (DOD) to ensure the progress in reducing deaths from breast cancer continues.
Urge your lawmakers to preserve funding for these life-saving programs in FY26!
