Increase Access to Genetic Testing & Early Detection in Tennessee!
Genetic testing provides vital information to cancer patients, their family members and their medical providers. The results of genetic testing can serve as a catalyst for patients to receive targeted prevention and treatment strategies, improving the outcomes for patients diagnosed with cancer. For example, individuals with certain inherited mutations often require additional breast imaging based on their lifetime risk.

By eliminating the cost barrier to genetic testing and evidence-based screenings, individuals will have access to critical information regarding their lifetime cancer risk and ensure they have access to medically recommended early detection and cancer surveillance.

Take action NOW to urge your legislators to support SB 1626 / HB 1775 to ensure individuals are able to access critical genetic testing and screening by eliminating burdensome patient cost-sharing requirements.
