Support H.R. 6024 – the BRAVE Act of 2025 (House Bill)
Every day, too many veterans struggle in silence with the invisible wounds of war. Access to timely, effective mental health care can be the difference between hope and despair. H.R. 6024, the Building Resources and Access for Veterans’ Mental Health Engagement (BRAVE) Act of 2025, is a critical step toward strengthening that care.

Vietnam Veterans of America urges you to contact your Representative today and ask them to support this vital legislation.

The BRAVE Act takes meaningful action to improve how the Department of Veterans Affairs delivers mental health services. It expands access to care by addressing workforce shortages, strengthening Vet Center outreach, and increasing support through the Staff Sergeant Parker Gordon Fox Suicide Prevention Grant Program.

Importantly, the bill also ensures that care better reflects the needs of today’s veterans, especially women veterans, by improving outreach, tailoring risk assessments, and evaluating barriers to care. It also expands access to mental health consultations and specialized treatment programs for veterans with complex conditions.

Urge your Representative to support H.R. 6024, the BRAVE Act of 2025, that will strengthen access to mental health care for veterans.

Our message is simple: No veteran should have to fight for mental health care after fighting for our country.
