Urge your Members of Congress to Pass a Full-Year Fiscal Year 2026 Budget with Full Funding for Water Infrastructure!
Through the Infrastructure Investment & Jobs Act (IIJA) in 2021, Congress demonstrated a historic federal commitment to supporting the efforts of communities to repair and upgrade their water infrastructure.

But Pres. Trump’s FY26 budget proposal to Congress requested cutting the Clean Water and Drinking Water State Revolving Funds from $2.7 billion in FY25 to $305 million in FY26. It’s critical for Congress to pass a full-year FY26 budget rather than another Continuing Resolution (CR) because under a CR the Trump Administration will have increased authority to under-fund or de-fund the programs that support local water infrastructure investments.
