• Register to Vote. Make sure your registration is up to date before Election Day. Each state differs on the last day to register. 
• Explore Your Voting Options. From early in-person voting to vote-by-mail, choose the option that works best for you. Many states offer flexible ways to cast your ballot.
• Find and Call Polling Location. If you’re voting in person, locate your polling place and confirm accessibility details in advance, including transportation, parking options, accessibility ramps, interior obstacles, and accessible voting equipment. Call ahead to confirm these details at your polling location.
• Plan for Accommodations. Under federal law, you have the right to a fully accessible polling place and can also bring a trusted person to assist you if needed, ensuring you can vote privately and independently.
• Vote! Research candidates, set a reminder, and encourage others to vote. If you have a government-issued ID, please remember to bring it with you to the polls. You may not need it, but it is good to have with you, and consider early voting. Remember, Election Day is Tuesday, November 3rd!
  • For those voting by mail, remember to complete and return your ballot as soon as possible to avoid processing delays. Make sure to read the submission instructions for your ballot before submitting.
