06/18/25 ACTION ALERT (US): Continue the Drumbeat on PBM Reform in Reconciliation!
IMPORTANT NOTE: This campaign is designed to target only Republicans for strategic purposes. If you engage in this campaign and the system does not allow your engagement, this means the U.S. Senators representing your entered address are not Republicans, our only targets in this campaign.

Keep the PBM reform drumbeat going to help us ensure whatever budget reconciliation package that is ultimately enacted includes long-overdue pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) reforms to protect American taxpayers, patients, and pharmacies! Whether you have acted in previous campaigns or not, please help us rally for PBM reforms!

Budget reconciliation — Congress’ way of fast-tracking certain spending and tax legislation — has moved to the Senate now that the House passed its version of the bill. Help us keep pushing so PBM reform is included in the Senate version of budget reconciliation.

Senate Finance Committee Chairman Mike Crapo (R-ID) released the Committee’s Senate budget reconciliation text which includes House-passed principles that would increase fairness in Medicaid managed care pharmacy reimbursement while banning the costly practice of spread pricing that continues to jeopardize patient access and drive-up Americans’ prescription costs. It would require 100% pass-through to pharmacies of ingredient costs and professional dispensing fees to pharmacies, a shift with the power to save the federal government and states billions of dollars. These provisions help ensure that Medicaid managed care pharmacy reimbursement from PBMs will cover the cost of acquiring and dispensing prescription medications, strengthening the sustainability of pharmacy care nationwide.

NACDS RxIMPACT needs YOUR help making sure the final Senate bill includes critically needed PBM reforms. This helps ensure key PBM reforms are in the final bill compromised by the two chambers. Together we must convince the Senate to protect PBM reforms in its version of the reconciliation bill!

For years, PBMs have been operating unchecked, driving up drug prices, limiting patient choice, and forcing pharmacies to fill prescriptions at a loss. The result? Thousands of pharmacy closures, leaving communities — especially rural and underserved areas — without access to essential healthcare.
