NACDS RxIMPACT is calling for YOUR help pressing the Administration and Congress to address three important needs as the nation prepares for the incoming winter “tripledemic” of COVID-19, influenza and respiratory syncytial virus!
Pharmacies have provided 276 million vaccinations for COVID-19 and stand ready to vaccinate for COVID-19 and influenza. To do so, leaders need to: (1) issue a new PREP Act amendment to ensure pharmacy PREP Act flexibilities extend until Oct. 2024; (2) release a transparent plan for commercialization of COVID-19 countermeasures; and (3) enact the Equitable Community Access to Pharmacist Services Act (H.R. 7213). To continue to meet the volume of care services and equitable reach in communities across the country, it is critical to prioritize these three urgent needs.
